Dot, dot, dot… One day a kid planted three little dots. And they grew into lines…

FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR ADULTS!

In Piste, Piste, Piste, nothing is quite what it seems to be!

Dot, dot, dot… And the moon turns into a playful ball, which becomes a fly, a seed, a tree, a snake and a willful stick.

A flute-playing dancer and a playful juggler are seconded by two voracious overhead projectors in a magical universe, where the ever so teasing dots set the agenda. The performance is inspired by the Brazilian children’s book Três pontinhos (3 small dots) by Mario Vale.

Mira Ravald, dancer, performer and contemporary circus artist, specialized in tight wire, graduated from Salpaus School in Finland 2009. Co-founder of the company Portmanteau, with which she has been touring internationally since 2018.

Luis Sartori do Vale, visual artist, performer and contemporary circus artist, graduated in visual arts from UFMG in Brazil and later from Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque, Belgium. He has collaborated internationally with several companies, a.o. Les 7 Doigts de la Main and Archaos. In 2012 he became a CN laureate and also received “The Special Prize of the Jury” in the 35th Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, Paris. Luis is a co-founder of the company Portmanteau.

Performs on the 19th of March at 14.00 at Den Grå Hal, Refshalevej 2, 1436 København K.
