In an absurd universe of enigmatic games, we meet a man with his head in a bucket

With a touch of David Lynch and a warm greeting to the kitschy, French TV game show of the 60s, Intervilles, a juggler moves blindly through a series of absurd experiments. The audience is his guide. His double is his opponent. The rules of the game are given, but anything can happen. Only one thing is certain: In the end, destruction awaits.
Der Lauf is a nerve-wracking display of balance art and body memory.
Guy Waerenburgh, project leader and juggler, has had various engagements for major contemporary juggling companies in Europe since 2004. In the period 2010-12, he performed with Cirque du Soleil in Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai.
