DEEP DIVE: Workshop with Milla Lahtinen (FIN)
A workshop about creative practices and how to combine different art forms.
Milla works with circus, music and visual arts, and will tell about her doings and share some exercises. We will explore excitement as a starting point for creating. What awakens an instant impulse of excitement in you right now? Color, sound, song, movie, facial expression, poem, space, memory? How could it be translated on stage?
We will also search for some trash and see how one could make trash and abandoned objects come alive while transforming them into sound and movement (or something else).
(2 hours, target group: Mixed, both professional circus artists, students from AFUK and other types of performing artists).
