New crushes and old darlings!

(Less Kuerdas at circusnext Lab by Kitt Johnson, October 2023, by Jean-Léo Bost)

Come come! We hope to gather all branches of the industry for a curated sharing at AFUK!

In great collaboration with the industry association Dansk Samtids Cirkus and AFUK, we are hosting an Industry Day as usual in connection with C!CAF.

Four curated works in progress will be presented, examined, discussed – and hopefully qualified – in a constructive feedback session lasting ¾ hour each, where everyone can participate.

We want to engage a wide range of stakeholders from the industry on this day: Performers, producers, venues, presenters, the industry association, intermediaries, academics, institutions, and funding bodies. We are looking forward to seeing you!

(target group: Everyone is very welcome at the Industry Day – but we only accept replies on the call from circus artists or companies. Read the CALL at the bottom of this site!)

Do you have a new crush or an old darling?

If you have an idea for a performance, are in the midst of the creative process, or have an old favorite in the drawer that has never been realized but that you still have a passion for and would like to receive feedback on, then send us your concept, CV and tech needs. Unfortunately, due to limited financial ressources, we operate with a LOW TECH profile. Furthermore we will not be able to cover neither travel or accommodation expenses.

We will select four different projects that together represent a wide range of concepts, disciplines, new crushes, and old favorites.

Deadline for projects: Monday February 26th. We will get back to you with replies on the call for projects, at the latest, on the 4th of March.
